Apologue’s vision is all about helping millennials around the world identify their purpose, accelerate their growth and live a more fulfilling life.
You are a Millennial.
You are highly motivated, have big goals. You truly believe you can achieve anything that you set your mind to do.
In this generation, it’s all about what YOU want to do.
You should be happy, right? You have the opportunity to do anything and everything – you do not have to go through the same struggles as your parents did and can actually go chase those big dreams of yours.
Call it a first world problem if you want, but it’s real. The more choices we have, the less satisfied we become.
But beyond being less satisfied, when you pair a highly motivated millennial with no clear direction – you start to..
Just like you, I have big dreams and goals. I would wake up every morning with so much drive and so much passion but with nothing to put it towards – and at the end of the day, I would just feel like a complete failure.
It felt like I was flooring the gas pedal in a car but the gear was stuck on neutral.
So what did I do?
I did EVERYTHING (or at least I tried to).
Yet, I was still unhappy.
I would have these monthly breakdowns where I would just feel burnt out and start to push the closest people away from me, I would make rash decisions and apply for anything I could get my hands on – which made me a prime target for scams.
And when I was 6 months away from graduation, I was at my absolute lowest point.
It wasn’t until I met and worked with amazing mentors when I started to really turn my life around.
I started to realize why 1 in 5 college students are depressed.
I started to understand why one of my closest friends took his own life despite “having it all”.
I started to uncover my true calling and purpose in life.
My name is James Lau and I am a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) certified personal development coach helping millenials around the world to take that first step in identifying their purpose in life, so that they can accelerate their growth and live a more fulfilling life.
I’ve had the opportunity to:
Nothing is more creative, nor destructive than a brilliant mind with purpose.
